Chinese company Xiaomi officially unveiled its first smart watch Mi Watch, writes TechCrunch. “Xiaomi, which competes with Apple for the leading position in the wearable device market today has made the competition more interesting. The Chinese company introduced its first smart watch called Mi Watch, which is strikingly similar to the Apple Watch,” the portal says. New from Xiaomi features of 1.78-inch AMOLED-display and supports MIUI for Watch, its own operating system based on Google Wear OS. The watch also has Quad-core Snapdragon Wear 3100 4G Qualcomm with a clock frequency of 1.2 GHz combined with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal memory. The company claims that its first smart watch support cellular communication (via eSIM), Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, and NFC payment system. As noted in the company Xiaomi, Mi Watch should operate without recharging for up to 36 hours. Watch at a price of 1299 yuan ($185) will go on sale in China next week.
