YouTube TV, the main channels for the US market from Google, adds a collection of content from Discovery.
Users it became available to the Discovery Channel, HGTV, Food Network, TLC, Investigation Discovery, Animal Planet, Travel Channel and MotorTrend. Later this year, will be added to the OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network, the movie channel EPIX will be available for an additional fee.
In his blog, the Christian Atlien, Vice President of product management at YouTube TV, explained that in the two years since launch, the service has improved their DVR and launched a number of new features.
In addition, the service also increases the cost to $49.99 per month, and up to $54,99 for those who are signed through Apple. When you start YouTube TV cost $35, and in March 2018, the price was raised to $40.
YouTube currently offers more than 70 TV channels, access to 6 accounts per household, and cloud DVR.
