A number of legacy Apple smartphones will lose support iOS updates. This writes iPhoneSoft.fr citing an anonymous developer.
It is reported that the iPhone 5s, SE and 6 and the iPad mini 2 and Air will not support the new version of the iOS operating system. It will present in early June at the conference for developers WWDC 2019, and the release will take place in the fall.
The production of all these models has long been discontinued and only refurbished iPhone SE periodically appeared on the Apple website. It also indicates that the iPhone 6s will have iOS support 13, though it has the same characteristics as SE.
Usually with the release of a new version of iOS drops support for devices released more than four years ago. It was assumed that iPhone 5s and other devices will lose the upgrade to iOS 12, but its got all the same gadgets that were available and iOS 11.
