IOS 13 appears dark mode, a redesigned volume indicator, improved multitasking for iPad, and more
9to5Mac has learned about several new features that are expected to be included in iOS 13.

Dark mode

Will be available system-wide dark mode that you can enable in the settings, including high contrast version similar to that already available in macOS. Speaking of macOS, iPad apps that run on the Mac using Marzipan, finally, take advantage of the support for Dark Mode in both systems.


In iPad with iOS 13 will be many changes, including the ability for apps to have multiple Windows. Each window might also contain cards, which is initially attached to the side of the screen, but can be disconnected by a drag gesture and move freely.

IOS 13 Apple introduces the new standard undo gesture for typing on the iPad. The gesture starts with the touch of three fingers on the keypad, shift left and right allows the user to undo and redo actions in the interactive mode.

Improve Safari

Safari on iOS 13 for iPad automatically prompts the full version of the site, preventing the common problem in which web sites display a version for the iPhone even when working on an iPad with a larger screen.

Improved Mail app

Other changes
