Streaming service is associated with the MGM-owned cable network Epix and will include a library of shows and movies online. For $5.99 per month, the platform will also provide access to all four linear channels Epix.
New customers can subscribe directly on your iPhone, iPad, Apple TV and Android devices via the Epix app Now. At the moment the platform is available on Apple TV, iOS and Android, and will soon be launched on Roku and Amazon Fire TV.
Epix Now gives subscribers access to such original shows as “Pennyworth”, which tells the original story of Batman’s Butler Alfred; “the Godfather of Harlem” with Forrest Whitaker; “Perpetual Grace, LTD.”, with sir Ben Kingsley; documentary series Iggy Pop “Punk” and “there goes Elvis” with Elvis Mitchell.
Returning shows like “Get Shorty”, “the Berlin residency” and “secret power” will also be available on the platform.
Network Epix was launched in 2009, Lionsgate, Paramount and MGM. The latter bought the shares of his two partners and gained full control over the channel in 2017.
