Last year, Razer released its first Android device, setting a trend, “gaming smartphone”. Now, the company confirmed the development of a second model of the phone.
In its last income statement, the Razer officially announced that the second generation smartphone is on the way.
Presumably, the device will get the Snapdragon processor 845 and maybe a new frameless design.
First Razer Phone was released in November of last year and probably the second generation of the company announces at the end of fall 2018.
The report also Razer on income is mentioned that the company plans to move part of its software and services from PC to mobile device. Still unclear what that means, but maybe Razer have plans on connecting smartphone to computer for gameplay.
With the successful launch of Razer Phone at the end of 2017, the company began to position as the founder of the industry of gaming smartphones. Mobile device for gaming has created an entirely new category of gadgets. The company is very pleased with the success of the first generation Razer Phone which was a limited edition, and received very positive reviews internationally. Razer is now focusing its resources on the development of the second generation of the smartphone and accompanying software release, which will help to unite the computer gaming industry and mobile market.
